Richard Corrigan's move
from east to west

The Challenge
Stepping out of his comfort zone and into the Shoreditch food scene, Irish-born iconic West London chef Richard Corrigan was determined to push more than physical boundaries with his newest venture.
Engaging our team to craft a visual identity for a restaurant that challenged his fine dining reputation; there was a desire to embrace the radical energy of the East with live music, spoken word and poetry — tied together with a rich Irish heritage centred on a folk song of the same name — Daffodil Mulligan.
Our task? To authentically rehome an established legacy amongst a vastly different crowd.

The Answer
Infusing the restaurant with true Irish soul, we drew inspiration from the rebellious spirit of Constance Markievicz — Ireland’s first female parliamentary member and a punk icon.
Rejecting tired clichés, we crafted an identity rooted in authenticity. A bold, unapologetic tribute to Irish grit and irreverence. From a vintage-inspired logo to hand-drawn illustrations reflecting Irish proverbs and Daffodil Mulligan’s lyrics, capped off with a severed, tattooed hand as a reserved sign.
Constance — this one’s for you.
